Charles River Analytics Scientists on Expert Panel on Surgical and Procedural Skill Decay at International Meeting for Simulation in Healthcare

Scientists from Charles River Analytics, a developer of intelligent system solutions, presented research on surgical and procedural skill decay at an expert panel at the International Meeting for Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH). The conference is the premier educational and networking event for healthcare simulationists from all disciplines. It took place from January 10-14, 2015, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA.

Dr. Peter Weyhrauch, Principal Scientist at Charles River, and Dr. James Niehaus, Senior Scientist, discussed their research in surgical and procedural skill decay, along with other experts, on the panel, Skills of Hands and Mind: Research into Decay, Recovery & Mastery. Some of these findings stem from research in the Laparoscopic Surgery Training System (LASTS), one of our contracts in medical training and support.
