Charles River Analytics Inc., developer of intelligent systems solutions, volunteered with Building Impact to assemble STEM learning kits for children in our community. Building Impact brings together volunteers with local nonprofits that work on critical social issues, such as education.
“Children and youth desperately lack hands-on science experience and a connection to nature, especially when living in the city,” said Jess DeCristoforo, Director of Human Resources at Charles River Analytics. “Our staff volunteered with Building Impact to create seedling kits for students to work on STEM projects at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston.”
We completed 24 seedling kits for delivery to the Boys and Girls Club of Boston
We decorated and assembled educational, hands-on kits to enhance out-of-school STEM programming. Our efforts will help children experience the plant lifecycle. Building Impact plans to deliver the 24 seedling kits we created to The Boys and Girls Club of Boston prior to Earth Day.
