On August 24, 2009, Donald S. Reynolds joined Charles River Analytics, Inc., as Director of Finance and Administration, responsible for a broad range of functions at Charles River, including finance, contracts, human resources, information systems, security, and facilities.
Mr. Reynolds brings over twenty-two years of experience in areas crucial to continued business growth and financial stability at Charles River Analytics. He began his career as a DCAA auditor, with a solid foundation in the cost accounting side of our business. He built on that foundation with corporate positions in accounting, financial planning and analysis, and financial management. He also has considerable experience in government contracts negotiation and administration, and has a solid human resources background. Mr. Reynolds most recently held the position of Chief Financial Officer for CellExchange Federal. He earned his BBA in Accounting from Kent State University and his MS in Finance from Boston University.
Dr. Greg Zacharias, President of Charles River Analytics, said, “We are clearly pleased that Don is on board, helping us fill a crucial element of our long-term Company strategic management plan. Don brings with him the necessary management experience and financial skillset Charles River needs to continue on a solid growth path in the Government Services and Commercial Solutions markets. We are delighted he is now part of the senior management team.”
Don Reynolds responded, “I am very pleased to be a part of the Charles River team and to be able to work with such high caliber people. The company has a wealth of talent, not only in Finance and Administration, but throughout the organization, and it will be a privilege to be able to contribute. This is an exciting time to be joining and I look forward to being a part of the company’s growth.”
This lead Finance and Administration position was previously held by Mr. Ted Fichtl, who filled it on an interim basis at the request of Dr. Zacharias. Mr. Fichtl will be taking on the position of Senior Staff Advisor, reporting directly to Dr. Zacharias. Building on his 25 years of military service and over 20 years of experience in a variety of executive management positions in the defense industry, Mr. Fichtl will advise and assist senior management on long term operational and organizational matters, as well as strategic corporate initiatives.
Dr. Zacharias thanked Mr. Fichtl for his continued contributions to the company. “I know we’re all grateful to Ted for stepping in and running the F&A Division on an interim basis while we searched for the right individual, who we’ve now found in Don. We’re very pleased to have Ted back in his former senior advisory role, and look forward to continuing to work with him serving as a senior advisor and military domain expert. With both Don and Ted now in place, we feel confident in moving out on other critical initiatives.”
