Charles River Analytics Inc., developer of intelligent systems solutions, proudly announces that Senior Scientist Dr. Michael Jenkins has been invited to present research at the AFWERX Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) Showcase at AFWERX Fusion Xperience 2019. The conference fosters collaboration across government, academia, and industry to solve tough military challenges. It takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada, from July 23-24, 2019.
The AFWERX Fusion Xperience conference centers on multi-domain operations, a key focus area of the Air Force and across the Department of Defense. In multi-domain operations, the joint forces must counter an adversary that threatens the US in all domains—air, land, marine, space, and cyberspace. AFWERX seeks accelerated solutions specifically tailored to keep Warfighters and operators out of harm’s way.
To address this challenge, Dr. Jenkins will present Space Operations Visualization Leveraging Augmented Reality (SOLAR), our Space Battle Management Command and Control mixed reality application suite. Dr. Jenkins and his team explored how novel information display and interaction concepts can enhance space operators’ ability to maintain the active situational awareness necessary to make confident, accurate, and real-time decisions.
