Charles River Analytics sponsored the New England Chapter of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society’s student conference. The conference took place on November 12, 2004 at Tufts University in Medford, MA. The aim of the conference is to bring together professionals and students in human factors and ergonomics in the New England area, with a particular focus on providing an opportunity to local students to demonstrate and discuss their work.
At the conference, Charles River Analytics presented an award for “Best Presentation” to Daniel Moralis of MIT for his presentation “Control Methods for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Providing Support for Manned Tactical Aircraft.” This award is presented to students whose research “represents a significant technical contribution and demonstrates the effective application of human factors and ergonomic principles and practices.” (Human Factors and Ergonomic Society Bulletin)
