Charles River Analytics on Panel Addressing IT Innovation for National Security

Dr. Victoria Romero, a senior scientist at Charles River Analytics, has been invited to join a panel of experts at the 2nd Annual SAP National Security Services Inc.™ (SAP NS2™) Summit. Panelists will discuss current US national security, homeland security, and infrastructure as well as the how to advance national and homeland security through information technology innovation. The summit will take place at the Fairview Park Marriott., in Falls Church, Virginia, on October 29, 2013.

Keynote speakers include General Stan McChrystal, Former Commander of US and International Forces in Afghanistan; Frances Townsend, Former Assistant to President George W. Bush on Homeland Security and Counterterrorism; and Chair, Board of Directors, SAP NS2; and Jason Mathen, Program Manager at Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA).

Dr. Romero will speak on a panel with Tom Wein, Behavioural Dynamics Institute; Noah Shachtman, Executive Editor, Foreign Policy Magazine; Phil Mudd, Crumpton Group LLC; Carmen Medina, Specialist Leader Deloitte; and Cherreka Montgomery, NVP, SAP NS2.

Dr. Romero said, “I am looking forward to serving on the panel to discuss how technology and behavioral science are merging to provide a host of new capabilities for detecting threats and deterring violence.”
