Representatives from Charles River Analytics, a developer of intelligent systems solutions were invited to meet with Senator Mary L. Landrieu, Chair of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, during her visit to the Boston area. Senator Landrieu visited with a number of small business owners in the region to discuss how the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program has driven innovation in their business sectors and to hear suggestions on how to improve the program.
The meeting took place at Beacon Interactive Systems in Cambridge, MA, on April 5, 2013. Dr. Greg Zacharias, President of Charles River, and Ms. Karen Harper, Vice President, Business Development, attended the meeting and presented an overview of Charles River’s projects and capabilities.
Dr. Zacharias said, “We were grateful for the opportunity to meet with Senator Landrieu as she has played a critical role in reauthorizing the SBIR program. As DOD Committee Chair, I join my fellow Small Business Technology Council members in thanking Senator Landrieu for her efforts in supporting small businesses.”
