Charles River Analytics at 52nd HFES Annual Meeting

Scientists from Charles River Analytics presented their research at the 52nd Annual Meeting of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES), which took place from September 22-26, at the Marriot Marquis Times Square in New York City.

Dr. Scott Potter, Principal Scientist, served on the panel, “Tools for Rapid and Accurate Idea Transfer,” where panelists addressed their recommended approaches, methods, and metrics for idea transfer.

Dr. Jonathan Pfautz, Vice President of Cognitive Systems, presented two papers:

  • Understanding Social and Organizational Aspects of the Work Domain Using Techniques and Technologies from Intelligence Analysis
  • Cognitive Systems Engineering for Evolvable Human-in-the-Loop Data Fusion

Dr. Ryan Kilgore, Senior Scientist also presented two papers:

  • A Five-Phase CWA for Air Traffic Control: Example from a TRACON Microworld
  • Predicting the Impact of Heterogeneity on Unmanned Vehicle Team Performance
