Scientists from Charles River Analytics presented their research at the 51st Annual Meeting of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES), which took place from October 1-5, 2007, at the Baltimore Marriot Waterfront Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland.
Charles River’s contributions to the annual meeting included the following:
- Dr. Jonathan Pfautz, Vice President of Cognitive Systems, chaired the panel, Meta-Information Communication and Representation, with co-chair, Emilie M. Roth (Roth Cognitive Engineering), and panelists, Ann M. Bisantz (U. at Buffalo-SUNY) Cullen Jackson (Aptima, Inc.), Gina Thomas (U.S. Air Force Research Lab), and J. Gregory Trafton (U.S. Naval Research Lab).
- Dr. Scott Neal Reilly, Vice President of Decision Management, presented research on Modeling the Effects of Behavior Moderators for Simulation-Based Human Factors Design. Co-authors on the paper are Charles River’s John Bachman, Karen Harper, Stephen Marotta, and Jonathan Pfautz.
- Dr. Ryan Kilgore, Senior Scientist, chaired the session, Intelligence Analysis and presented the paper, Formalizing Ecological Display Development: The Form Comparison Matrix.
- Dr. Ashley Nunes, Senior Scientist, co-chaired the panel, Safety and Training with Chair Sherry Chappell (SA Technologies).
