Charles River Analytics, developer of intelligent systems solutions, has announced a follow-on contract to create mission planning tools for the US Navy. Advanced Mission Display and Planning Tools, or AMPT, addresses the challenges unmanned and manned teaming operations in complex operational environments. The eighteen-month contract is valued close to $750,000.
“Under this effort, we are developing tools to help operators by addressing the unique complexities of teaming variations across a range of missions and operational contexts,” said Stephanie Kane, a scientist at Charles River and Technical Lead on the AMPT effort.
AMPT’s mission monitoring and decision aiding visualization framework allows operators to intuitively perceive system status, identify response requirements, and efficiently direct planning tools.
