Charles River Analytics was featured in the Boston Business Journal in an article entitled, “Two Area Defense Companies Explore Civilian Markets” (by Sheri Qualters, July 8-14, 2005, pg. 9). The article discussed the strong growth in the DoD market for knowledge intensive technologies, Charles River Analytics’ positioning to serve that sector, and the push to transition the resulting software systems and products out to the commercial market. Greg Zacharias, President of Charles River Analytics, pointed out how both the government and commercial markets are contributing to another year of double-digit revenue growth.
To support growth in the Commercial market, Charles River Analytics released, in the last quarter of 2004, its second commercial product BNet.Builder™, a desktop application for rapidly creating Bayesian Belief Networks. It is part of Charles River Analytics’ family of Bayesian Belief Network products, including the recently released BNet.EngineKit™. BNet.EngineKit is a developer toolkit for researchers and engineers to use to embed belief networks directly in the user’s software applications.
