Charles River Analytics, a developer of intelligent systems solutions, congratulates Mark Henderson, a software engineer in the Cognitive Systems division, on his team award at the MassDOT Visualization Transportation Hackathon. The event encourages teams to participate in “informing the future of Massachusetts transportation through data analysis and visualization.” It took place in Cambridge, MA, on December 14, 2013.
Mr. Henderson’s team won the Crowd Favorite award for their system combining rails and road traffic density visualization on a dashboard, which shows a predicted accident severity based on historical trends and weather conditions. Read more about the team’s system here.
